Default Abandon Faction Option

So my guildies and I did the Deep the other night because some didnt have the trophy for their hall. We are Kurzick btw. Anyway, I recieved about 9k faction for Luxon and bought a jadite shard. I have 4k left over and cant do anything with it now since the faction for shards increased from 1k to 5k. I dont have even Rank 1 Luxon title track to waste it on a skill I already have for the Kurzick side. I have no interest in farming another 1k Luxon even for another shard. Cant be asked. And it annoys me that I have to bribe my own side an extra 50 gold just to take the bounty to delete this Luxon faction, that I cant use Kurzick traders (having to map to the guild hall is annoying), use skill merchants or buy armour til I waste my time raising my Kurzick faction higher than the Luxon. Im sure some thought it was cute back in the day when you couldnt use the opposing sides traders and such, but now its just annoying and a waste of time when it stops you from doing just a simple quest or such.

So, since the jadite/ amber has been jacked up from 1k -5k (which so isnt worth it now) to get rid of this useless oposing faction, to stop wasting time in the game from having to map back and forth to the GH to sell things off, or waste time trying to balance the factions back out to our side, I would like to recommend a few things...

1) put the jadite/ amber back to 1k so we can get rid of oposing faction more easily.
or
2) allow us to bribe our own merchants like we can the priests for bounties.
or
3) put an abandon oposing facion button somewhere along with the factions rewards npc.

I know this is a few ideas all at once, but any would be fine with me so I can stop wasting time in my gaming.

This whole post stemmed from me just trying to run my monk from VA to Unwaking waters so I could use him for vanquishing when Luxons control the bounties for that area. I added my henchies then went out the door. I forgot the extra 50 gold for the bribe, had to go back to the xunlai chest on the moon, since i couldnt sell anything for it. Then had to go back to the hall to sell off first just to come back and re-add the henchies. And even after I got to Unwaking, I still didnt have enough Kurzick faction to use the merchant there, back to the hall to sell off so I could to do the mish, back to UwW and re-add my heros. Seriously annoyed atm.

You can buy Scrolls of the deep for 1k faction. They're worth 100g, better than nothing.

Buy scrolls for 1k as above said or just simply forget about it and waste it once you get Kurzick faction.

KK, hadnt really thought about scrolls being able to be sold back to merchants for those areas. We usually ferry parties there from the GH so only one ever buys a scroll as needed. However, this still doesnt eat up all the faction possible usually and still puts a crimp on vanquishing areas for the title, or a quick quest, if your faction isnt balanced. Such as forgetting that extra 50g bribe, not being able to use the merchant and having to take a full party back in the door. Or selling off during a vanq. Or selling off after a mission or quest line. All I am saying is that things come up, people forget they have oposing faction, and that there should be an easier way to get rid of it instead of trying to balance it back to the side you are actually on.

no offence, but it's only 50 gold, and you'd only have to do it once to make 4k faction easily. vanquish arborstone or somewhere else with your guild and you'll make well over 50g and 4k faction.
